Thanks for the links and your blog, very useful and easier than checking the official website.
ReplyDeleteGood luck for the ride, have a great day!
I'm in pen 10 on my first etape.
My bib number is 11354 - I should be wearing an HTC top and riding a blue and grey Felt (although if it's cold/raining that might switch to a black and white Gore jacket).
ReplyDeleteEveryone's welcome to come and say high/give me a tow ;o)
Shouting insults while passing me on Revard/Semnoz is also acceptable.
And Captain's Pub after if you're in a fit state to come along.
Hurrah! - see you in the pub :) Will be bringing the whole family - hope that's allowed!

On another note, have a look at Cycling News, they have released a good app of the tour and has a good write up of the stage.
ReplyDeleteDid you check out that video link that I sent you?
Hi David - the Rapha video was great (far better than the Sky one).
DeleteIf your French is up to it, this is one of the best video recces I've seen: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x106k8b_reconnaissance-etape-du-tour-2013-annecy-le-semnoz_sport#from=embediframe
Even if you're French isn't great it's got good pictures and you can listen for the climb names.
Hi James,
ReplyDeleteYour blog makes for an interesting read. Goodluck to you and your buddies. I'm starting in Pen 10 so I may see you out on the road.
Also, depending on how I'm feeling, I may pop down to the Captain's after the ride.
